Presentation of Public Opinion Findings: “A Battle Without a Victor – Palestinian Public Opinion Post-War”

Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to present to you the detailed findings of Public Opinion Poll No. 215, conducted by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (PCPO). This survey provides insights into Palestinian perspectives following the Gaza war and reflects the current public mood, priorities, and expectations.

Key Insights from the Survey:
• No Clear Winner: 71.1% of Palestinians perceive that neither side emerged victorious, with both suffering significant human and material losses.
• Cautious Realism: The public favors stability and dialogue over escalation, demonstrating a pragmatic approach to post-war recovery.
• International Roles: Opinions on the U.S. are mixed, while there is a broad consensus (83.5%) regarding Egypt’s effective mediation efforts.
• Outlook: 40.9% of respondents anticipate a gradual improvement in Gaza, whereas 38.9% foresee continued challenges in the near term.
