A New Poll by the Palestinian Center for Public Opinion (PCPO)

Key Findings
• 74.4% of respondents believe the law would completely or partially eliminate peace prospects – linking this bill to the erosion of peace opportunities.
• 42.2% believe the death penalty bill aims to intensify racial discrimination against Palestinians.
• 46.4% think it would increase tensions and field violence.
• 52.6% say it would heighten fear and anxiety among Palestinian prisoners.
• 46.4% also think it would deteriorate relations and deepen hatred between the two peoples.
